Contrafuerte by Miguel Horn

Soaring above an otherwise unremarkable alley in downtown Philadelphia, Contrafuerte makes for a bold reminder to reconsider our public spaces. The sculpture consists of laser-cut aluminum figures who climb and support each other in a dynamic composition over an existing bridge. This work of art became an instant attraction in Philadelphia and quickly became of the city’s most important public art pieces.
