Featured Project: Re-painting of Mark di Suvero’s Iroquois sculpture

After a decade and a half of display on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the painted surface of Iroquois had faded from its signature red-orange color to a chalky pink, and a fresh coat of paint was needed. Working with art and architectural conservators, we managed the restoration project, which included de-installing, stripping, repainting, and reinstalling this 35,000-pound sculpture.  The restored sculpture not only brought back the original color and finish, but thanks to advances in the selected paint system, we can expect it to maintain its vibrancy and finish for longer.
